Her birth date was March 29, 1985, in Roswell New Mexico. Her name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican and American. Since she was a child, she's been very attracted to sports. Gerina took up golf in her first game at the age of 15. Gerina finished her high-school education at Goddard High School. As a high-school student she was the winner of at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. In addition, she was an athlete in volleyball who played at the state level. She went to an institution called the University of Texas in 2003. As a senior, she won each tournament she entered. In the course of her undergraduate studies, she earned the titles that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
