Midthunder is a member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribe. She is originally from her home in the Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending the majority of her youth at Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics and where her mom worked for a casting house) She returned to her to her home. Amber is of Native American ancestry on her father's side. Both members are of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber was birthed to an adoptive mother which means that Amber does not have any recognized mixed ancestry. Prey is a movie with an extensive Native American contingent, which includes Dakota Beavers in the role of Naru's younger brother as well as Jhane MYERS JHANE MYERS, who is a Comanche and Blackfeet producer who advised on the project extensive. Coco the adorable animal actor that plays Sarii was selected because of her unique breed that is known as the American Dingo.
